I awoke to no alarm clock this morning. The power outage totally didn’t help me waking up, but luckily I am pretty good about waking up early. I felt horrible, horrendous, deranged, and sick. Well, maybe that’s being a little dramatic, but I felt dead. I got ready for work, but all the while loathed the thought of torturing myself through a day when the bed sounds like a nice haven. I tried to make a lunch, but pretty much just tossed a bunch of random snacks into a bag. After I felt my lunch was decently filled I went up and hopped onto my computer to check some serious buisness. You know, the usuals. Well, I then went to work. I clocked in, put my stuff in the back, got a drink, and went to my register. I thought it would be a fairly okay day, the only thing keeping me from not going insane was the thought of returning back to sleep. To my horror, I got bad customer after bad customer. “Oh, there is supposed to be $400 on one of these. Why is this not working? (After like six attempts to get the gift cards to work.) Could you tell me why it’s not working?” I calmly replied with a “I didn’t make the machine.” I sort of like to taunt my customers. It brings me pleasure to see them try to act like I am in fault, and then hit the nail on the head. “This is supposed to be this price!” usually gets a “Congratulations!” from me. I know, it’s probably not the way I should treat customers, but I don’t think they should treat me like everything is my fault. I mean seriously, I don’t change the prices and whatnot. Well, after enough off the nonsense, I went home. We started to watch “Stranger than Fiction.” It ended up taking like 3 hours even though the movie isn’t that long, because of the random interruptions. Then, since my brother finally got the phone he ordered in the mail and had to get it set up, I decided to set up his old phone for me. I know, I didn’t really want nor need a phone. Hopefully it will come in handy sometime. After that, we ate dinner. I didn’t really eat all that much, because it was a bunch of stuff I didn’t like. I’m not one for fish, and that’s what we were having. We also had shrimp and I ate that. Then, I went to play The Darkness. I beat it, then took a shower. Now, I am here writing this blog. Tomorrow I am working 11:30 to 8. Maybe I will do something.

Cut away, Cut away!

July 30, 2007

I bought Enchanted Arms for $20. Then, I went to work. After that, I got my senior pictures taken. Finally, I ate dinner and started playing Enchanted Arms.

That’s about it for now. I’m trying to figure out what wand to buy. The choices!

Oh, and I’m being Neville for Halloween. I’m gonna need to get some dress robes and what not. It’s gonna be awesome!

I’ve been a gamer for a very long time. As of now, I am a seventeen year old. I have a job at a grocery store as a cashier and I work anywhere from 30-40 hours a week. During the summer I have more time to devote to video games which is always nice, as during the school year I work the same, but also have to go to school. Nintendo has always been my favorite, though I have not let that blind me from other consoles.
My first console was a NES, which in 92 was succeeded by my trusty Super Nintendo currently in the possession of my sister with numerous battle scars. In 93, My uncle Dave thought I was pretty good, so he challenged me, and I won, and since I was only 3 he threw my console against the wall. I also got a Sega Genesis and got to enjoy classics like Sonic the Hedgehog. That’s only one battle scar, though. I saw the previews for the Nintendo 64 and I was amazed. I freaked out when I got it for Christmas, but not as bad as the N64 kid. Even my dad was amazed by the graphics. They were mind-blowing. I loved my N64. My brother got a Gameboy from a garage sale not long after. I got Pokemon Red for Christmas and we played it forever. Even all the kids around the neighborhood would come over to watch us play it or play it themselves. I got that Gameboy Color with the PIkachu special edition gameboy and loved it. Then, I got the nice Gameboy Advance. That day I will remember forever. Not really for the GBA, but for the fact that my sister’s friend threw a MCFlurry at me. Fun Times! That Christmas I got a Gamecube with Luigi’s Mansion. My jaw dropped yet again. My friend Eric got a Ps2 that Christmas, and I thoroughly enjoyed that, too. We always hung out with each other. One day someone broke into his house and stole our stuff while we were gone, which was terrible. My N64 and Gba his ps2 and a lot of games were sadly taken. We were devastated. It was as if a Dementor had began sucking the life out of us.

Jump to 2007 and I now work. I also got a Wii for Christmas!

I have bought many things so far. The first thing I bought was a 42″ plasma. I went on to buy a new monitor, a Ps3, a 360, a PowerBook G4 (Steal of a deal for $100,) a 400GB external hard drive, a ton of games, books, posters, and other random stuff.

I play guitar and run a website. You can hear some covers and originals if you go to my website: www.noahthegreat.com.

My dream job would either be working at Nintendo being a game designer or working at Nintendo Power. I like to write reviews, although I haven’t had time to lately. My favorite subjects are Math and Science, and my favorite Science is Chemistry.

I’m hopelessly obsessed with Harry Potter, and a lot of kids say I look like Neville Longbottom.

I suppose that’s it for now.

Well, I got The Darkness in the mail today. It was the first game I picked to have sent to me through my new Gamefly subscription. I just have to say, it makes my jaw drop. The graphics are amazing. The creatures are cool and fun to play with. It has an entertaining storyline. I never thought I could like another First Person Shooter. It really takes an awesome one to grab my attention. Other than that, I got an email that made my day. Kyle Herman my Chemistry teacher from last year dropped by to tell me that he can’t watch Harry Potter with keeping a straight face, because I am exactly like Neville Longbottom. This also fits in the whole “Noah loves Luna Lovegood” situation, because Luna has feelings for Neville and since I am like Neville she has feelings for me! Coincidence? I think not! Oh well. I suppose I’m messed up, because I have been super obsessed with Harry Potter for a long time. Roffle. I hope Evanna doesn’t read this, because she would probably think I was mental. I am mental, though! :)

THEY’RE BAKED!

I haven’t written a blog in a while. I sit and I think to myself. I waste so much time here, yet I never get anything done. Thoughts of the future pass over my brain. What will happen in the future? I never seem to think of what I am really going to do with my life. My dream for the longest time is to be a Game designer. I really don’t know what will happen, though. I have also come to like writing on my terms. It’s going to be my last year in high school. I am surely very happy of this. The problem is that I haven’t figured out where I am to go to college or what I really want to major in. I keep spending my money left and right when I really should be saving it for school or a car or something. I suppose it’s better that I am spending on stuff I will use for a long time than a girl, though. Not that I think a relationship would really fail miserably, but it does take a lot of money and time and effort. I don’t have the time or effort, I suppose I make enough money. I know, I know. You say that a girl wouldn’t take all of my money if I picked the right one. This isn’t true either. Just because she wouldn’t want my money doesn’t mean I would not spend it on her. I’d be happy to. I also shaved my head. Why? I figured making my senior picture nothing like my normal hair would be good. I don’t like it this short at all. It will grow back, though. Besides that, I bought Guitar Pro for the fact that I have used it for a long time, and they deserve my money. Hopefully, it will help me on the quest to get better at guitar. I thought about getting a 1GB stick of ram for this notebook, but I really should wait until my next paycheck before I bounce my account. I messed with some cute girls buying ice cream. They couldn’t get enough of it. I don’t know how much longer I am going to play WoW. I can’t seem to get back into it now that I am back from vacation. If I didn’t work it would probably be a different situation. I haven’t hung out with Ali or Gianni yet this summer, so I should see if they want to come hang out on Sunday or Thursday, since I am off. I don’t hang out with my friends enough. I really want to. When I get my car it will be so much easier. I also need to get a surround sound set and a cell phone.

Thanks for caring! (NO BOWING)

According to “Hardbody” I am the true king!

Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure.

I don’t feel like going back to Jersey in a few days/ LAME.

Fun times.

July 13, 2007

Well, I bought WoW and the expansion. Julia didn’t have the expansion, so I picked up a copy for her, too. So, we will be adventuring a lot. (When work permits.) I am now a Night Elf Druid level 14 after two days. I plan on making a Blood Elf Paladin and adventuring with Mike and Ryan soon. I surely hope that I get the extra memory soon, so that my computer will be boosted to 1.25 GBs. (The max, because this one has a non-removable built in 256MB piece of ram.) I am going to my mom’s soon, whenever my sister gets here.

Well.

July 11, 2007

Vacation is great so far. I’m currently installing WoW. I’m only going to play the beta, and I am not going to get addicted. xD

Sorry for the lack of blog entries recently. Over my vacation, I will be able to write more. Lately I’ve just been working a lot, and prepping some stuff.
